RWC Building Products, a regional distributor of building materials, is interviewing for an accomplished and seasoned Information Technology Manager.  This role is highly visible and works collaborative with the executive leadership team to proactively translate business needs into information technology solutions.  As the IT Manager, you will take ownership of the planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions for the company spanning four states and 12 branch facilities.  You will serve as a catalyst for change by actively identifying opportunities for improvement in customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and operating costs.  Your robust knowledge of current IT trends will help establish clearly defined performance standards and goals creating a roadmap that aligns with business priorities and objectives.    

 

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide strategic and tactical planning of regional IT needs including the development, evaluation, and coordination of the IT systems. 
• Monitor and report on the performance of IT projects including actual vs. expected results, budgets, and project duration.
• Manage third-party vendor relationships including contract negotiation.
• Maximize the utility of existing in-house software solutions for improved workflow and streamlined operations. 
• Develop and administer IT budgets including business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
• Supervise, coach and prioritize assignments for IT personnel and outside contractors.
• Action oriented, hands-on leadership style to effectively lead and organize IT priorities.
• Strategic, tactical, and operational competence to create plans that cover development, operations, infrastructure, disaster recovery, contingency planning, and security. 

A B.S. in Computer Science or a related field is required; Masters Degree a plus.  Certifications and project management experience are highly desirable. Strong management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills are a must.  Additional job requirements:

• 5-7 years of software development experience designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging applications
• Java and web technologies experience such as JSP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience working with various database applications
• Working knowledge of Local Area Network configuration and Internet security a plus
• Wholesale and distribution industry experience a plus

RWC Building Products, a regional distributor of building materials, is interviewing for a full-time, outside sales representative based out of our corporate offices in Phoenix, AZ.  The ideal candidate will be a highly-skilled salesperson with at minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the building materials / construction market.  You will be responsible for account development, management, and generating new business and growing existing business through outside sales activities.  Organization is critical to the success of this position as coordinating sales, customer service and deliveries for your accounts is part of the job requirements.  A high volume of face-to-face contact is necessary so candidates should also possess:

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• High degree of self motivation and ability to work independently
• Sharp sales techniques to get past “gate keepers” and set qualified appointments
• Conduct impromptu and scheduled training seminars on the brands

 

Candidates should have the ability to grow business relationships, manage pricing for accounts and understand profitability standards.  In addition, we require:

• Computer literate candidates that are proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint a plus.
