Our Story

RWC Building Products has its roots in the vision and hard work of its founder, John “Jack” Lisherness, who established Roofing Wholesale Co., Inc. in 1958. Jack’s dedication laid the foundation for what would become a successful building supply company.

Harley Lisherness

After Jack’s passing, his son, Harley, took the helm as CEO and brought the company to new heights. Under his leadership, RWC expanded to thirteen locations across four states in the Southwest, with stores in California, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. The company now employs hundreds of workers and serves thousands of customers while staying true to the commitment to service that was instilled from the beginning.

With a reputation as a leader in providing residential and commercial roofing, stucco, and hardscape materials to contractors, builders, and homeowners, RWC Building Products has grown significantly from its humble origins as a one-person operation. The family-owned company continues to strive for excellence in customer service and satisfaction in the industry.

But we believe that being a successful business goes beyond providing excellent products and services. As a company, we are also committed to doing good in the community.

One of the ways we do this is through our annual donations to local charities and non-profit organizations. These donations help support important causes such as education, the arts, and youth development.

In addition to financial donations, we also encourage our employees to get involved in volunteer work. Every year, our team members donate food and toys to those in need through company-sponsored drives and hundreds of hours of their time to various community service projects. From building homes with Habitat for Humanity to mentoring at-risk youth, our employees are always eager to make a difference.

At RWC Building Products, we understand that being a good corporate citizen is about using our resources and expertise to improve the lives of those around us. We are proud to call this community our home and will continue to do our part to make it a better place for all.
